Mark O'Connor - Symphonic Compositions

I am here to write about my American music and American culture—as a long-time artist, author—a multiple Grammy-winning, CMA Musician of the Year. My memoir Crossing Bridges, and my book series for music education, the O’Connor Method are published and widely read. I plan to be posting several times a week. I’m currently on tour with my wife, Maggie O’Connor, who is a stellar violinist and vocalist (as you can see from this recent video clip of ours). “Double Violin Concerto” is one of my numerous compositions for orchestra. But most of the time we are singing my Americana songs accompanied by my guitar pickin’, and playing fiddle music together. I want to eventually have paid subscribers for my writing on Substack.
