Whidbey Island without power
Concert will go on as planned with generator power at the PAC
We made it to Whidbey Island, and here is the view from our Airbnb of the Puget Sound from this island! There was a storm last night and most of the island is without power including us, and including the Whidbey Island Performing Arts Center. They don’t know when the power will be reinstated, but the PAC has a generator there and the concert can go on as planned! That is fantastic for us, and for those who want to get out of the dark for a bit tonight, we’ll warm it up with ‘An Appalachian Christmas’ music for this #soldout concert here! (For those of you who just can’t manage to get here safely because of this, we still have some great dinner seats left for the two Seattle shows at Dimitriou’s Jazz Alley next week on the 22nd and 23rds, FYI).
And speaking of heating it up with the Christmas music today. Maggie just ticked past 39,000 monthly listeners on Spotify, as I ticked past 174,000 monthly listeners. A new high mark for both of us, heading into the final 7 concerts of the tour! ‘A Christmas Duo’ album is registering two tracks in my top 10, “The Holly and the Ivy” and “The First Noel.”!
